Each year SITM awards scholarships to women who have interrupted their academic studies and who now wish to begin, or continue, the pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate college degree. This year we are awarding $40,000 to nine well-deserving recipients. Since 1980 SITM has awarded almost $1.2 million to 440 women. Every one of these women has overcome hardship and we believe these scholarships have not only helped them individually pursue their dreams but have also made our community a better place through their achievement.
